I was looking through deviantART stamps on my opinion of violence and depictions of violence (arts, books, movies, games) and didn't find any stamp that fit me. In fact, many stamps said the exact opposite. So I made this one.

Whatever you like, be it drawing tons of blood or playing insanely violent games - I don't really care. As long as I don't have to see it. And trust me I don't want to see it. :) I support adding mature content tags for violence everywhere and having warnings on all kinds of media.

There is one person I know that is probably reading this stamp with a heavy heart. But to that person I can only say: a lesson hard learned is still a very valuable lesson, I have all trust in you it never happens again. :hug:

I think that slapstick is funny, but I don't like violence. Since I love cartoons, one of the kids in my homeroom recommended that I watch this one show. (I forgot what it was called.) From the title, it sounded like one of those funny, whimsical shows like Looney Tunes, Woody Woodpecker, or the classic Mickey Mouse shorts, (All of which I watch on YouTube and love.) but I looked it up on YouTube and within the first ten seconds, somebody's eye was pulled out, a bunch of people got chopped in half, and it was downright horrid to watch. I turned it off immediately and tried to forget what I just saw. I hate gore and that kind of stuff, so I lost a bit of trust in that kid.
A bunch of people diss me for not drawing gore or playing those M-rated games where you shoot literally everything on screen and it erupts into a pool of blood, and there are a lot of fights at my school. I don't think that violence is ever okay and that it's never okay to think that it's the answer to any problem. Go on and call me a hippie or whatever, but that's how I feel about violence.

I go to this one MUGEN forum, and at first I thought the community was nice. They seemed very understanding, they're okay towards newbies, I almost thought they were among the nicest non-furry people on the internet. ...And then...

This kid went onto their forums asking how to deal with bullies, and the community there recommended violence. Straight out violence. Even if the kid wasn't being physically injured by someone. At first I thought they were kidding, but they were dead serious about it. I tried suggesting non-violent solutions, but they insisted on violence being the answer.

...My respect for that community went down a lot because of that.

You're right... really few anti-violence stamps (or anything) here in deviantart.

Oh Gott, zu dem Stampf kann ich nur eins sagen: Word.
Srsly ich stimme total zu, ich mag Blutige Sachen auch nicht sonderlich. D: Am meisten stören mich ja nach wie vor die Millionen Shootergames die es gibt. Die werden auch nicht klüger oder so. :/

Es gibt schon Spiele von denen ich einfach nur angeekelt werde. Was so toll daran seien soll Leute abzuknallen werd ich auch nie verstehen. Da fand ich Turok Evolution noch am besten, Dinosaurier mit Pistolen. :XD: Aber bisher hab ich mir nur ein ab16 Spiel gekauft, und das war Metroid Prime Trilogy. Und der ganze ab18 Mist hat in meinem Haus nichts verloren. :D

Naja wenns um ab 16/18 spiele geht, da besitzt nur mein Dad welche... und n paar davon hat der noch nie ausgepackt. xD (Der spielt nicht so oft, und wenn er spielt dann nur autorennen, Virtua Fighter oder Sonic. ^^)

Aber ja ich bin genau der gleichen Meinung, ausserdem ist in diesen ganzen Shootern doch keine Abwechslung, da geht's nur ums Töten, das ist einfach wiederlich. ><

Meine Rede.
Ich fands aus ziemlich schlimm was man da so alles sieht wenn man nach Stamps mit "Violence" sucht, deshalb hab ich diesen hier gemacht. :)
